Most educated people can pass the test to become a real estate agent. But that doesn’t necessarily make them one. By my own experience, I learned what makes a great real estate agent. In an odyssey that took more than two years, Marci scoured the Los Angeles market for my son’s first home. It should have been easy; After all, it was a cash offer. By learning of, and truly understanding his taste, needs, preferences and ignorance of the market. Marci dismissed almost every home in his price range. She knew he wouldn’t be happy with those she rejected. Along the way, in two separate instances, she found one that would make him happy. However in both cases, a long drawn out negotiation, Seller’s contingencies and problems arising from the financial crisis, both negotiations failed to result in a closing. Most agents would have moved on to find easier deals Marci didn’t. She kept looking. Finally, she found the right one. Unfortunately, the property was in an estate with three executors located in different cities. It took an extraordinary amount of time and effort to cure the deficiencies as well as getting signatures at each obstacle. Finally after three years, my son moved into his new home, allowing Marci the freedom to help someone else. That’s a great realtor. ~ Debbie Cristo
Marci Baron is an excellent real estate agent. She helped us sell one home and buy another simultaneously, which involved a great deal of finesse. Once our current home was in escrow, we found a larger home we hoped to move into. With the clock ticking, instead of pressuring us to move forward with that transaction when we discovered numerous problems via the inspections, Marci found us another house which we ended up buying and absolutely love. She was always one step ahead of us and never stopped working. Her knowledge of the Westside and the real estate market in general was a great asset in negotiations and she helped make the transition smooth and painless. ~ Bill and Nicole Raymond
You are a great real estate agent. ~ Sumner Redstone

We can’t imagine working with anyone else. You earned a four star recommendation with 24/7 dedication to all aspects of our transactions. We highly recommend you to everyone. ~ Larry and Jill Spiegel
Dear Marci - Many thanks for the fabulous job you did on selling our house in a very difficult market. As you know, we interviewed other agents in the area and decided you had the best strategy to market and sell our house. The photographs and brochures marketing the house were outstanding. After one open house, we had multiple offers and were able to go forward with both a contract and a backup contract. The backup contract proved critical since this was the family that actually purchased our house. Also, thanks so much for taking care of our house while it was vacant. You took a great deal of the "moving stress out of our lives. ~ Tracy and Barry Kierce
Thank you so much for all that you have done for us the past few months! It has been such a great pleasure working with you. You have made this process so easy for us. Thanks for all your honesty and your friendship. ~ Paul and Alexandra Bergman
I could not have done it without you. Thank you. ~ Mary Aaron
You’ve transformed our house. The website looks fabulous! The whole family loves it. Gorgeous gorgeous job! Thanks so much...You are a genius. ~ Traci Mann
Marci Baron became our realtor through the recommendation of a family member. We were extremely pleased with the professionalism with which she handled the sale of our home. As we sat down at the start of the sale period we were impressed with her thoroughness as she determined our needs and as she explained the sale process and the associated paperwork. During the course of the sale, we were never surprised by any new or forgotten requirements required for the sale. Since we had people living in the home at the time, she was very sensitive to their needs for privacy and worked around their schedule perfectly. Marci was very prepared and effective in advertising the property. It was during the beginning of the downturn in the economy and had we the knowledge of hindsight, we could have accepted an offer given during the first week the property was on the market. The final selling price of the property was the same as that early offer. We have no reservations in recommending Marci to anyone needing a top notch realtor. ~ The Smith Family
Dear Marci, Thank you for all your hard work helping us sell our old house and buy our new house. We wouldn't have been able to do it without you. Your dedication and hard work helped us secure the ideal home for our family. You have such great knowledge of real estate and expert negotiation skills, but most importantly, you really care. We really appreciate you taking your time to listen to what we want and to help us consider what is best for our family. We always remember how you said that we shouldn't sell unless it made sense for us and to make sure that we have a good quality of life. Your dedication is second to none. You always go above and beyond. You were always there to answer our questions and to provide support. We will never forget how you were working late Friday night and all weekend to help write the best offer for our new house. If it wasn't for your negotiation skills, knowledge, and your letter there would be no way we could compete with a dozen other offers on the house. We definitely couldn't have gotten the house without you. It was an involved and delicate process to juggle two transactions at the same time but you made sure that they both went smoothly. You thought of everything, even helping us find the perfect apartment to live in while renovating. The kids love the apartment because it is so close to the park, Starbucks, and our new house. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful agent as you. Even when we lost hope, you continued to work hard and to encourage us. You are the most thoughtful, caring, and generous person. We look forward to having you over once the house is ready. Please know that you are never far from our thoughts and we really value your friendship. Every time we see our house, we think of you. We feel so blessed to know you. You are a first class person and a first class agent! Friends forever! ~ Tom, Jeannie, Brooke, Amberly and Thomas
"You have been such a breath of fresh air amongst the agents we have worked with. Someone that truly understands others' needs. Couldn't have gotten this condo without you. Michael and I will surely keep in touch as I'm sure we will have follow-up questions that we couldn't find anyone else to ask but you. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. We really appreciate the years of experience you have to make this deal go through." ~ Linda Sun
